Campground Bear Returned to Forest
Ventura County firefighters helped rescue a bear at a popular campground.Campers at Steckel park near Santa Paula spotted the bear Wednesday night.When local law enforcement arrived the bear climbed a tree.Wildlife officials tranquilized the bear.Then Station *20* firefighters helped bring it down to the ground safely.Firefighters say it was relocated into the Los Padres National Forest overnight.
