2012 Avocado Festival Launch Party

The 2012 California Avocado Festival launch party kicked off Wednesday night.It featured a “Taste of AvoFest,” it included appetizers and wine, along with this year’s poster unveiling.For the first time, the festival is taking tips from the beverage area and turning them into a $1,000 Scholarship.Details are being worked out by the Carpinteria Education Foundation.Festival organizers say between 80-100,000 people attend the festival every year.The 26th annual California Avocado Festival runs from October 5-7.
