Local nurseries in Orcutt work to keep plants alive and healthy during heat wave

ORCUTT, Calif. – A local nursery in Orcutt is trying to keep the plants alive during the hot weather.

Whispering Tree Nursery workers say plants have not died, but some have burned.

Gardeners say the only way to restore those plants is by feeding them food, watering them, and placing them in the shade.
