ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - Employees with Century 21 Hometown Realty shared lunches with local firefighters Friday afternoon as a way to say "thank you" for protecting their property and the community.

"This is a small but important token of our appreciation for what these brave men and women do. God Bless the heroes that bless our families!" said Jack Hardy, President and CEO of Century 21 Hometown Realty.

With the especially dangerous and extreme fire season this year, Hardy wanted to take time to acknowledge how difficult it has been for firefighters all along the West Coast.

"Living in California, we all understand we live with a serious fire season each year. We cannot take for granted our safety and the safety of our loved ones. Every year, firefighters risk their lives to keep us and our properties safe. Century 21 Hometown Realty is giving back to those that protect us and our property," Hardy said.

For their thank you, each Century 21 Hometown Realty office brought lunch items to their local fire stations. The first lunches were delivered to CAL FIRE Pismo Beach Fire Department and to Nipomo CAL FIRE.
