Tequila & Taco Festival to return to Ventura County Fairgrounds in July

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. -- The Tequila & Taco Festival is set to return to the Ventura County Fairgrounds on July 24 to 25.

The 9th annual festival will bring two days of the finest in tequila, tacos and entertainment to the Fairgrounds.

Festival-goers will be able to enjoy tequila sampling, live entertainment, delicious street tacos, craft beer, refreshing margaritas and an artisanal craft market.

There will be a variety of top-shelf tequila brands in the tequila tasting and delicious margaritas and other beverages.

Vanilla Ice is set to perform on July 24. He will perform with hip-hop/rap duo Tag Team.

Vanilla Ice was set to perform at Concerts In Your Car on June 26 but that show has been cancelled.

The festival is part of the Surfers Point Live! by CBF Productions which is also the producer of Concerts In Your Car series.

“It’s time to get out of your car, soak up the sunshine and enjoy the cool ocean breeze at the Ventura County Fairgrounds,” said Vincenzo Giammanco, CEO of CBF Productions. “We are thrilled to be able to transition from Concerts In Your Car to the Surfer Point Live! series – bringing back live entertainment and food festivals that can be enjoyed in a beautiful location right by the Pacific Ocean.”

The event will be from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Tequila sampling tickets will be $42. The tastings takes place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

General admission tickets are $15 on Saturday and $10 on Sunday. Kids 12 and under are free.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance and will also be sold at the door the day of the event while supplies last.
