Santa Maria, SLO drive-ins to screen Metallica concert

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Hi-Way Drive In Theater in Santa Maria will show a special concert performance later this month. 

The theater will play host to a live Metallica concert. The iconic hard rock band will perform live by video in drive in theaters across the country. 

The concert is scheduled to take place Aug. 29. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com. 

The Santa Maria drive in theater is located at 3170 Santa Maria Way. 

Concertgoers must wear face coverings and practice social distancing at all times while outside of their vehicles. For a complete list of rules and requirements, click here. 

Residents of San Luis Obispo can get in on the musical experience too! Sunset Drive-In will also broadcast the heavy metal band’s concert.
