Peanut Butter drive at Page Youth Center

GOLETA, Calif.- Basketball players and their families are encouraged to come to the games with one extra item, a jar of peanut butter.

The Blenders Basketball League at the Page Youth Center is holding a peanut butter drive through Saturday, February 1.

The PYC is located at 4540 Hollister Avenue in Goleta.

So far 50 pounds of peanut butter has been collected but organizers hope to make a final push with a full slate of games on Saturday.

The peanut butter is being donated to their neighbor, the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.
