SLO County reports 23rd COVID-19 death

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department reported the county's 23rd coronavirus-related death on Thursday.
This person was in their 50s and had underlying health conditions, the public health department said.
Sadly, another of our neighbors has succumbed to COVID-19, bringing number of COVID-19 deaths to 23. They were in their 50s & had underlying medical conditions. Let’s all do our part to #SLOtheSpread & protect our most vulnerable residents.

A death is recorded as a coronavirus death when a death certificate is processed that lists of COVID-19 as the cause of death or a significant contributing factor in the death.
