SLO County reports 23rd COVID-19 death

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department reported the county's 23rd coronavirus-related death on Thursday.

This person was in their 50s and had underlying health conditions, the public health department said.

A death is recorded as a coronavirus death when a death certificate is processed that lists of COVID-19 as the cause of death or a significant contributing factor in the death.

San Luis Obispo County has recorded 3,194 cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday. For a complete breakdown of cases in the county, click here.
