SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Sharon Boling is already in the holiday spirit.

"Halloween is coming. It’s the start of the holiday time," said Boling.

While she plans to splurge at the Spirit Halloween popup store, she’s not buying any Halloween costumes due to uncertainties of the pandemic.

Instead she’s stocking up on Halloween home decor.

"I’m looking for stuff for our display," said Boling.

Managers with Spirit Halloween say they’re already running out of Halloween decorations.

"We’re selling out a lot of the home Decor stuff at Spirit Halloween its the number one seller and a lot of outdoor decorations is what selling out the most," said manager Chris Rustrian of Spirit Halloween.

Rustrian says because the home decor is selling out quickly, they’re trying to spread the items out to make the walls look more full.

"People still want to have the spirit ... even though there’s a pandemic going around you know ... the pandemics not gonna stop people from having the actual spirit you know of Halloween," said Rustrian.

Some of the most popular items selling out include all the Hocus Pocus items.

As managers work to keep the shelves full, Boling says she hopes everyone has a good time, whatever your Halloween plans may be. "By staying safe and healthy."
