SLO County reports 2 new coronavirus-related deaths

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department reported two new coronavirus deaths on Friday.

The public health department says one person was in their 90s and was considered high risk due to underlying health conditions.

The other person was in their 50s and had no underlying health conditions, the public health department said.

Both residents died in their homes.

The San Luis Obispo County Health Department is asking residents to do their part to slow the spread of COVID-19. This includes wearing face coverings, practicing physical distancing and staying home as often as possible.
