Dignity Health Central Coast: New guidelines created for expectant moms during COVID-19

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Dignity Health Central Coast medical director has created national guidelines for expectant moms during COVID-19.

Additional measures are being taken at the hospitals to reduce infecting healthcare staff and the baby, when born.

Marian Regional Medical Center physicians are fielding requests for home-birth due to concerns of exposure to coronavirus.

Marian wants to assure the public that the hospitals are safe for delivery.
